X is the latest horror movie from the talented writer/ director Ti West. A smart, visual and stylistic slasher movie with plenty of blood and gore and a good dose of humour. The story is bizarre at times and for most horror fans, this film will give you what you seek. The performances from Mia Goth and Jenna Ortega are decent and we felt this was a fun watch. We are aware a prequel is already in the works.

Be warned the film takes a while to get going but then the shocks and thrills take you on a journey. Worth a watch in cinemas.
